Cleatfurrows, Birsay, Orkney

 

Cleatfurrows is in the heart of the village of Birsay with a garden running right to the shore, it is situated between the church on one side and a small cattle farm on the other.


Birsay, the ancient Viking centre of Orkney, is in the most Northerly corner of the West Mainland, 15 minutes from the town of Stromness and 25 from Kirkwall.


The house divides into two self contained cottages - Sea End and Palace End - each sleeping four comfortably.


Alternatively the house can be rented as a whole sleeping up to ten adults with two on a sofa bed.


The house is open all year round and can be booked at a reduced rate for stays over 3 weeks.
